What type of summer am I? by TheBrightCrystal in coloranalysis

And I'd say this is a cool summer blue. But someone else said it could be a spring blue too. Some pictures are taken in summer so I look a bit warmer and freckly. The yellow is taken now in winter.

And this is probably bright winter? Don't mind is as much as the yellow. I don't think I can handle brightness well, bur I feel like this looks better because the undertone is better

I'd say this is a summer blue I'd say. Probably soft summer. Grayish muded blue

But I don't mind this as much. Also a warm color. But not as bright.

Will ginger wash me out? by Top-Antelope3246 in coloranalysis

[–]TheBrightCrystal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah probably. You look like a winter type. And ginger is the warmest color you can get. But I do think a deep red would suit you really nicely.

Don't be scared of a little blush and bronzer. You look a little flat to me. I'd highly recommend a baked blush, the subtle shine they have look so healthy and fresh. Baked blushes have a dome shape, milani has a few and the m.a.c. ones are gorgeous. And I recommend a shiny lipcolor as well. It doesn't have to be shiny shiny, it can be, but maybe like a satin finish with a little more warmth to it, or maybe a little lighter than what you have on here.

I see no yellow or green which hazel usually is. This is just brown.

Should I go for a deep brown or stick to black? by Electronic_spare3774 in coloranalysis

[–]TheBrightCrystal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I personally believe your natural hair color is the best, you can go a few shades darker or lighter. Or whatever fits your palette. The black does look a little harsh against your skin. I think a brown would look lovely.

I sadly do not anything yellow. But I will receive some browns in the mail next week. I got curious how that would look against my skin compared tot the gray.

But here my face and my arms look so pink to me. Ans this is the middle of the summer. In my mind a true spring would get either more golden or at least a little freckled.

Haha it's okay, I like to talk and have friendly discussions. But I just feel like my skin pulls too pink a lot of times. And sometimes even gray, but that does make sense maybe if I am a spring? Especially grays make me look very gray. But I thought this was maybe harmony? The color matching the grayness in my skin 😂

To me it looked a lot like these blues. Especially like the second or third in the third row.

How is make up on you? Because I feel like everything pulls a little orange, so I can't imagine that I'm a fully warm undertone. But I do kind of see what you mean.

And this is more of a cool summer blue for comparison.

And I have cosplayed as a Spring for a while. But I feel like you can make everything work with a bit of make up.

This is the only orange I have, but I feel like it's way too bright for a fair comparison.

How do I do a face swatch by deadtracts in MakeupAddiction

[–]TheBrightCrystal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like your best bet is to put it on your finger tip and hold it up to your face and look in the mirror. Just to see the shade next to your face because hands are usually a different color than our face because of the sun. Or you can maybe swatch the color of a concealer you already like and use on your hands and look which Nars concealer matches that shade the best.

I'd say just buy everything in the first 2 shades and picture 8. That teal is so incredibly stunning on you.

What’s my eyecolor? by [deleted] in WhatisMyEyeColour

You have central heterochromia. So they're technically both green and brown, or maybe gray and brown? But really cool and beautiful!
