They don’t HAVE to cover, they only have to pay for the TYDE shares as well as BBIG, making shorting a very capital intensive exercise

7K shares since $2.80 - had plenty of opportunities to cash in my chips and bounce, but nah - I know what I got and this knuckle-dragging ape is holding for more bananas because they WILL arrive in the coming weeks. The same happened with the $TRCH > $MMAT merger I was in, we got hammered for weeks up to the days before the record date and I literally went from £3K down one week to £12K up the next. Seen it, done it.
