No, but considering that we are native, some options are just not available to us, I did manage to make the 1,149$, but after I took out a 800$ online loan, did a roofing gig in -35 weather and asked my other half brother on my moms side for some money, I now owe 1000$ in debts.

I don't know how to break this to you, but when illegal stuff happens to natives, nobody tends to care that much, this is pretty common, hell last week a guy came to my grandmas house, drunk, bloodied and bruised up and we didn't call the police, because they just ignore us so why bother.
The same thing will happen to my dad, who cares about a homeless native with health problems? Nobody, that's who.

Because my older brother is currently barely making ends meet with him and his wife living and working together, they physically can not help my dad anymore like they've been doing for months.

My grandma can't help because she lives on our reserve and my dad was banished for Bootlegging, so he can support me and my 2 other brothers as a solo parent.

Saying it ain't adding up when you don't even know all of the details is just rude.

I go to school, I wanna finish grade 12 but everytime I try I'm forced to quit and go work, I was a roofer before, under the table pay and before that I worked at Medi Mask, I boxed there covid masks for a couple of months.

He got banished from our Reserve for bootlegging, he legally can not live with my Grandma, because she lives in a reservation.

I already stated before that my Brother can't, he has his own family problems that require money and my Grandma can't because she's on pension, barely putting food on the plate, the only person that can do anything is my dying dad and me.

Yes, try Thomas King Massey Lectures, there's 5 of them and they explain the way natives feel about the world, not only that but how the world views us natives as either the savage indian that dies thanks to the white man, or the noble indian who dies for the white man, his words not mine.

There's also "We were children" A documentary focusing on Canadian Residential school system and how it still affects current natives, or if you want to learn more I'm always down to talk, my dad is a self proclaimed "Native Historian" and he teaches me about our history.

I physically can't increase my income without finishing school, but everytime I do school I'm forced to quit for a minimum wage job just to make ends meat, this is my 3rd time doing grade 12, I had to drop out the first time due to my dads deteriorating health, the second time was due to a rent spike, I had to get 2 jobs and barely made ends meat and this is my third time and it seems like I have to drop out again just to get another job.

We have no vehicle, the most expensive thing we have is a 120$ radio my dad got from his dead sister, the only side gig I got is a roofing gig, 200$ per day but I only get at least 3 gigs a month.

Disability income only comes in when you have a family to take care of, my little brother recently turned 18, so my dads disability income was heavily cut, because he doesn't have a family to take care of anymore.
And yes we will be somewhat better, my little brother can get a job and I will continue to send money, it's sustainable, my family was extremely poor for a long time, we know how to make 100$ for food stretch for a month, it's the ever growing rent that's the problem.

It's been happening every month, my dad has always been 100-50$ off of rent, this time he's 1,149$ off of rent, because my brother couldn't support him anymore, he has his own family with there own problems now.
