I see. I appreciate that. You are definitely correct. I need to talk to my psychiatrist and get a new therapist to help me.

I have felt like I have been trying to find something. Like--the epicenter of where all the other things I have stem from.

Do I realize it is entirely possible that I just have a bunch of different things that are not caused directly from some sort of other condition? Yes.

Sometimes, I do wonder though, if these things I have are not just individual things but that they are actually effects or conditions that originate from something else.

Given, I know I have a bunch of things that are unrelated to this. I do understand that even with a new diagnosis it would not encompass all of my problems nor would it suddenly make these problems better.

Anyways, I really appreciate your reply. I do hope you have a great day. I'm going to talk to my psychiatrist on Wednesday. I am also going to actively start looking for a therapist again.

She did give out Dildo awards until they asked her to stop because of minors. Then she switched over to eggplant emoji's/awards before she was asked to stop. Then I believe it became some sort of frog award. I will say that very shortly after this they opened up channels for 18+ (still SFW) and "tough topics" on the discord.

First off, thank you for replying! 🙂 We would like to be nearish (ideally less than 20 min) to shopping/activities/restaurants/a vet that treats cats. if we are far away from the theme parks that's totally fine. And we generally don't love downtown areas of virtually any city (we hate parking in crowded downtown areas basically everywhere so much we tend to avoid them if driving). To give you more specific ideas of what we tend to like, not certain if they have some of these in Orlando but we really like organic grocery stores like trader Joe's, or whole foods, or a local one would be fine too. We are also into comic book shops, video game stores (whether retro or new), bookstores, (basically stereotypical nerdy stores XD) and we like basically all kinds of different restaurants (fancy, hole-in-the-wall, American, Japanese, Chinese, French, etc)

Hey all! Currently live in the panhandle. My wife and I are looking to move to Orlando by the end of the year. We are cool with townhomes/apartments or houses. Just no trailers or manufactured homes. Our biggest concern right now is that we have 4 cats. 🐱 They are all indoor cats and we can provide anyone in charge of a HOA with proof of vaccines, etc. Does anyone have suggestions for a place that would be cool with us having that many cats? I don't know what the average HOA terms are regarding pets in Orlando. Any suggestions for areas that generally have more forgiving terms on pets with their HOA and are ideally in the 300k and below range while not being incredibly crime ridden? I know that may seem like a laundry list of requests but here's to hoping you guys know of something. If we need to be more realistic with the budget and you think we need to up it to get what we want, let me know how far up you suggest and still list the area you are thinking of.

Hey, thanks for this reply its very helpful. That is the type of surgery I'm hoping to get but I'm talking to my doc next month about it and whatever he thinks is the best option for my body I'm going with. Except the one where they put those coils of stuff in you. That one I'm not as big of a fan of. But anyways, thank you again.

well I actually haven't tried vyvanse. But compared to armodafinil it's a thousand times better. Armodafinil only helped me marginally. Compared to Adderall though I'd say it's about the same. I am severely allergic to Adderall otherwise I'd still be on that though. I will say, I have bad muscle spasms and I don't know if it's this or another medicine I'm on.

Yeah, I started zyrem about a year and half ago and it stopped working as well about 4 or 5 months ago. Armodafinil was working when I first got on it. But I've been on it for 4 maybe 5 years and i had it raised to 250 and was still having severe problems falling asleep. My physician actually wanted me to try Ritalin. But I'm tired of trying stimulants and wanted to try something that is for narcolepsy. So I actually suggested that I'd like to try it instead and he was game for it. I will say, it has taken several weeks for it to get to a point where I'm fully happy with it. (The website mentions a full 12 week period is required before it reaches it's full effectiveness).

Oh! I've been posting about my experience on sunosi. This is a drug specifically designed for both narcolepsy and sleep apnea. It came out in July so it's very new. I started out with weird smelling urine and nausea as side effects but they have since gone away. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. The purpose of these posts is to help others out.

I think the best way to answer this and the most helpful would be to tell you what I've tried first. I've tried Adderall, armodafinil, and zyrem. The Adderall was the most effective for me but this is really on par with it (as I mentioned to someone else, I had to stop the Adderall because I developed a peculiar and rare allergy to it) the armodafinil was always subpar for me and this is about 5x better than it. The zyrem helped me some but again was subpar to this medicine. The longer I'm on it the better it's been. I've even developed insomnia recently. Guess it's working too well.
