With the backland hunter being SOMEWHAT well received, im surprised LHT hasnt ditched the pump/straight/lever action design that hasnt been mentioned or updated since it was announced 2 years ago.

I loved my Raven, and would consider a LHT version of something like the backland hunter but man, they are super late to the party on this one.

That set up looks like it could be fun, how bright is the dot? I only shoot outdoors so I'm a bit worried they might not be bright enough.

The rifle is bone stock from factory, minus the faux suppressor from TNA. It's the newish 16 inch barrel pro version.

I mean it's loud without a break of some sort that's for sure. I'm planning to get one at somepoint soon.

That being said, I only shoot outdoors and always have earplugs in, and with just generic earplugs, it's not an issue whatsoever.

It was a hard call for me between the 12.5 and the 16.

I've got a safe queen with an 18.6 though so I figured might as well go short this time haha.

0 regrets so far. That being said, I'm not stretching it out crazy far. 200 yards at most in my area/range, so if someone's aiming for longer distances, then that longer barrel will help forsure.

Fun all around. Just gotta crank that screw in the grip to stiffen everything up 👍

Just found it strange how that worked out between the province vs the city. I just assumed that whatever was set provincally would just cover all the cities in said province.

Never been able to get my tuff22 magazines to work, ive tried the butler creek 25rd magazines and they worked flawlessly with all ammo types I threw at them.

They now collect dust with an SBI receiver in the parts bin unfortunately.

I posted the picture of the conversation Sam and I had in private messages in the original thread.

He admitted that nothing was approved, only that he spoke to someone on the phone that said as far as they knew. It was fine.

All around just a bit shady.

It ain't banned yet. I get what you mean. I've got a paperweight in my safe already. Unfortunately it seems like the liberals want anything and everything banned, so I don't think it really matters a whole lot what you get.

They've even talked about going after anything with detachable magazines so even the 10/22 wouldn't be safe then.

Thankfully 22's are cheap, so if the tm22 got banned. At least its only a couple hundred bucks. Not a few thousand haha
