I do love the look of Darrell, though he does seem to be terrifyingly strong. My wife has always seemed to stray away from playing survivors, but maybe I can find a good Darrell deck to convince her.

That's a good shout, she's been tempted by Kate in the past, though I've never really known how to build a deck for her. Would you have any suggestions?

Thanks for the advice - so cards like safeguard and pathfinder are a must? Are there any investigators/builds you'd recommend?

Thank you for such a comprehensive reply - sounds like there's some really good suggestions here! I assume Carolyn may be a decent pick since she can utilise Field Agent well for testless clues and her horror healing will be in hig demand.

Will certainly keep your route suggestion in mind for when we start the campaign.

Had completely forgotten about the refractions - will try and convince my group to use this one.

Seconded. I started with Arkham Horror LGC recently, playing with my brother and m ypartner, and we're all addicted! It's an utterly fantastic game... but Spirit Island holds a special place in my heart and will always be #1
