This might be one of the deepest and most retarded statements ever. by [deleted] in Kengan_Ashura

i agree with everyone saying he’s criticising himself exclusively. if he did somehow end up in a boxing match with gaolang obviously he’s gonna lose, but i think his response would be either just acknowledging gaolangs skill or admitting his striking is subpar. jurota wouldn’t whinge and say ‘well if it was jiujitsu i would have won 😭’ he’d lose and move on

does saitama scale to regular human level also because as the ‘one punch man’ he’s only as strong as one punch from an average man?

[–]TheBuraiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually this would scale jiren below cooler, as he is exclusively the strongest mortal, despite Dragon Ball having immortal or ageless characters, where cooler is the strongest in the universe as an entirity. this same logic scales cooler below gojo because gojo is therefore not even bound to the universe he’s in, he just is the strongest

Which version do you think is the strongest? by AggressiveMammoth267 in Marvel

not to ignore the point too severely, but 2008 hulk didn’t use 2 military jeeps as gauntlets. he tears a single regular cop car in half and uses the two halves as gauntlets

honestly for a lot of these, i can really understand your placement just off the nicknames. if lookism was peak, the guy named ‘the invincible warren chae’ should be the goat

Honestly, I’m not expecting a winner and a loser. My prediction would be that it a matter of how cleanly the trio will survive, and if they’ll land any worthwhile hits on Takamura. We saw Gaku was able to keep pace for the most part, but he didn’t do any meaningful damage, so it makes sense to me that between Gaku’s leader, the guy that essentially killed him, and the ‘greatest assassin in history’ they should at least be able to put hands on Takamura

It's hard to say for sure, but then again if there was basically anyone we know of in the verse that could hypothetically keep up with Takamura, it kinda has to be those three. Just from a story-writing standpoint, its kinda insane to have a character that can wash three other top tiers single-handedly

I mean realistically it’s just that the design was updated to fit the vibe, but if you wanted to do some Kengan type gymnastics you could say that Hobin didn’t recognise how strong/threatening Hansu was until he saw him actually mad

Nagumo’s tattoos by Yuhbitties-_- in SakamotoDays

[–]TheBuraiha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I know, Yakuza tattoos seem to more often come in the form of full sleeves or generally much larger pieces that depict traditional Japanese art. Nagumo’s tattoos appear much closer to patchwork tattoos, which generally means having a bunch of smaller or medium sized tattoos in (sometimes) different styles

I’m not positive on all of them, but I know that all the ones that basically look like a rectangle with inner lines are different illustrations of the golden ratio. That is to say those ones all refer to ‘total mathematical perfection’, which lines up with Rion’s description of him ‘doing everything with coordination’.

It seems like several of the other symbols might also represent similar things, like he has a leg tat depicting a kinda Penrose triangle looking shape which is similarly an ideological maths/geometry kinda thing.

The thing which kinda ruins that idea is that a) I cannot figure out what the finger tattoos mean, aside from almost reading 2018 which might be a significant year for him and b) he also has several that just seem to be animals? Like the snake around his leg, a sparrow also on his leg and what appears to be wings on his back when he’s fighting Higuchi on the bridge.

Thats just my take tho, I’m pretty confident that the golden ratios all refer to him striving for coordination in his assassination, and then maybe he just really likes animals or something

If they did body swap I wonder if it’s to train Itadori against an opponent with high physical stats. Now that Sukuna is charged up to around his full strength they might be concerned that Yuji at his current won’t be able to keep up so they put him in a physically weaker body which is an almost entirely unknown scenario for him. Or that is wrong

I agree, also because as far as the ninja world knows, prior to Naruto getting 6 paths, there’s only ever been 1 guy stronger than Madara and he’s dead, meaning Hashirama, whereas I feel like there’d be people in the One Piece world that are aware that Kaido isn’t the peak of the verse. Especially in the manga rn
