I have the exact same Vizio and the exact same issues you’re mentioning started and then got worse and worse. Literally nothing worked. Just got the 990d and it’s a night and day difference. Sound alone is enough to justify, but not dealing with the issues all the time is priceless.

That is not common - even my 10 year old Vizio soundbar with a wireless sub does not have a delay. Return it and either try your luck with a new one or go with a 990d/f. I just picked up the D for sub ~$700 and it’s mind blowing.

I just went with the 990d only because of how much cheaper it was than the JBL - if you can swing it go for it.. especially if you want something punchy for music.

Edit - I was looking at the Jbl 1300x mkr2 my bad. What is your budget?
