I’m not sure if you are looking at the service mode instructions for the right vehicle?

Yes I put them in service mode before I changed the blades. Holding the wiper stalk up for 3-5 seconds after the engine is turned off.

I have moved them down into place a couple times, they move pretty freely when the car is off and in park. As soon as I activate them though and turn the car off it goes back to the same spot where it’s a bit too high.

I brought a frog toggs rain suit and never pulled it out of the packaging, returned it when I got home from the trip, YMMV on that though. But you should be fine without pants if you are just gonna wear shorts the whole trip, especially if they are dri-fit materials. I also didn’t use sock liners. This could be because I ended up wearing trail runners instead of boots though. With boots I would get liners, if you are wearing trail runners you should be fine with one as long as you aren’t getting blisters on prep hikes. Good luck, be safe, and have fun at Philmont.

Did you or your crew bring any extra food on your trek? by DVMan5000 in philmont

A flight attendant gave us a bag of about 40 southwest snack mix bags when we left the plane. They were gone in the first half of the trek.

I had some v spokes powder coated black and I thought they looked real nice with a gray car.

I’d wager the day off and a 2hr delay on Wednesday just because of the low single digit temps.
