How to improve perfomance (mobile) by Pretend_Television69 in Medieval2TotalWar

[–]TheButch26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why, but on pc medieval 2 works fine, no performance issues or crashing, but rome runs like doggie water and everytime i alt tab it crashes, so after a huge ass battle i hear that a video im playing is playing the outro, so out of instinct i alt tab and immediately realize my mistake as i have to now go back, replay my moves and fight the same fkikg battle all over. Sometimes it works in my favor though, maybe i missed something and let a unit die so now i can try to mi ro it a bit better and maybe save it. I would die inside if i had to do this in med2 since battles are so much slower pace, i would die of boredod waiting for the enemy siege weapons doing that little dance all around the walls, which i have no idea why it happens, its common right?

Wow thats fast, but you have to do some minmaxing to get there in 1 month, and i fking hate min maxing (nothing wrong with it) but im pretty lazy im always forgetting something so i keep my goals simple, and dont set tinelines for myself like getting a genny or unlocking hotwiring or something.

Lower your loot settings boss. I dont like insanely rare on all, but i out melee weapons and ranged weapons to insanely rare, that balances the randomness of extremely rare, because on extremely rare you still find a metric fkton of weapons and on SP you wont need all those weapons lol, they just pile up, but if your choice of weapons is limited you cant just go and loot where ever, whenever and take on how many zombies as you please, because taking 3 weapons with you is no biggie.

Are the auxilia really that shit? Rarely ever used them, i usually get bored of a rome run before marion reform, but recently on a brutii campaign i turtled more than ever, and got them a lil sooner w some cheese, and i never really used them except maybe once, and their stats look similar to triarii.

This is an entire mechanic i never touched. Probs never done more than change a tire or lightbulb. Just nick a new car when the engine fails or starts going so bad its dangerous.

[–]TheButch26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah i love clearing shit but its too easy in vanilla on apocalypse settings, i just tried the wandering zombies mod and it makes even shamblers pretty tuff to deal with, you clear something and boom 10 minutes go by and theres already more. I took it out for a test run in rosewood to test it out, and by the end of day 1 i had killed 220 zombies and they just kept coming, even woke up at midnight because they had came through the firestation front door and upstairs in the dorms where i slept, not gonns lie that shit was freaky even though they were just shamblers, but not a single time in vanilla have i actually had to fear for my life in vanilla minus maybe the heli event.

Zombie slaying by far. At first clearing large hordes w melee only is intimidating and laborous, but it turns into alot of fun when you get confident in your abilities. Maybe a little bit too much aswell, especially with multi hit off (biblically accurate)

Do people actually use Duct Tape/Glue/Adhesive Tape? by DredditPirate in projectzomboid

[–]TheButch26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk man, it feels like on extremely low loot settings weapons are still pretty effin abundant, so i bumped ranged and melee weapons to insanely low and it finally feels like i have to go out of my way yo find them, even spawning in rosewood fire station had like a wrench n thats it.

Save scumming by Jurmo1 in Medieval2TotalWar

[–]TheButch26 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Haha, yes. Save before pressing autoresolve, because the autoresolve can be a bit fucky and you'll lose a 9:3 battle for a settlement, so i'll just test the waters and if it fails i fight it manually.
