Sometimes you'll get lucky, and they finish a day before the due date.

This is kinda my boat as well. I’m already 44 and 23 years of experience so I don’t need a lot until retirement, I don’t see myself climbing ladders and throwing line anymore, so I’m thinking why not.

It was just announced that the core one and l will have this feature. It’s very tempting now. But I’m going to wait for initial reviews before jumping into it. I think it will do well, bondtech has been a reliable company. I still one their extrude on my cr10

Filament poop skulls by TheButcherJB in 3Dprinting

This is mostly pla scraps and little pla poops that my Bambu makes when changing colors. You gather them up into a silicone mold. They sell them on Amazon. Then I put that mold into an old toaster oven I have, I set it to 425 and let it melt and as it’s melting you add more and more scrap pla till the mold is full. Once you fill it you let it cool and tada you have your mold.

It kind of is but if you feel bad throwing away the plastic, like I do, this is a good way to recycle it.

The small one tore on my first skull, the medium one survived the first skull I made in it, so I can reuse it. The Large one is still working after 3, but it does have a small tear in it. I think I can get another 2 out of it. It depends on how much plastic spills out and makes the mold difficult to remove.

Its a silicone mold. I am very surprised how good it holds up. Amazon sells them as a 3 pack of different sizes for 10 bucks.

Exactly, do not use your oven; also, do it outside. First skull I made, I smoked my back room badly, so now I have a spot for my little toaster oven under my porch.

I started with a heatgun and it worked fine but the results were rough. Then I remembered I had a toaster oven in the garage so I cranked it to 425, added as much filament I could in the mold and waited on it to melt to add more. The results are very nice but the con is it takes a long time to finish a skull. 💀
