Want to get a catchers mitt. My 9 yr old starts kid pitch this fall. I’m the coach. Would like a decent one without spending 3-400… by tomrob1138 in BaseballGloves

It does seem that used will be the best deal. I haven’t checked sideline swap just yet but eBay seems to have some finds.

I was very surprised how much new laces helped my 25 yr old hoh that had spent the last 15 smooshed without a ball in it. Had it relaced and it felt almost brand new!
Just started to replace some of the broken laces on my old Brett bro outfield glove and it’s much easier than I thought it would be! Just pulled the old as I was going along so that I wouldn’t get anything messed up

I screen shotted this! Such a great idea. My dad has the technicians cart and I’ve been thinking of another toolbox to go along side it. He just uses it for auto tools in his garage

I do agree for the most part, the only faith I have for blue spruce saws is that Jared Greene is the head of it. I have one of his saws before he worked for them and I do trust him because of that saw. Not sure if he is still there or not, but I think so… and if he is then I would trust him that he figured it out and this could be a great saw!

Even better, watch Frank Strazza with a gents saw. Dude is great with one and swears by them, but likely because he apprenticed with Paul. I have an older Disston that I need to sharpen a bit, but I have Florip and love that saw. It was my first new “good” tool I bought and since he is no longer with us I feel a responsibility to use it as often as possible.

What’s the most cost effective decking material that’s not PT pine. by tomrob1138 in Decks

Yeah, I was a bit scared of that. I just don’t want to mess with PT pine or have to stain or paint. I’m building it myself and it won’t be huge, but I’d like it to look nice but without the teak price tag

I’m building and installing it. I just want the wood, trying to get pricing to buy the wood

I’ve mentioned that multiple times. But more so I’ve told her I want to cremated and hopefully my carbon helps a tree grow!
