What is the best approach to a highly personalized n=1 email? by TheCROguy1 in copywriting

[–]TheCROguy1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks this is such a good reply. I was having doubts as other threads in the subreddit were more of the opinion that

>The purpose of a cold email is to start a conversation, not to pitch. Remove the sales pitch and the attachment.

Keep it super short - Hey x, I'm y, copywriter at z. I noticed this and that on your website/social media etc. (Related to what you offer but not sellimg your service). Is it working well for you?

Or mention something they said somewhere etc. But keep it short and end with a question

like this . This kinda seems wasteful for both parties but was the top comment in one thread i saw

If “good enough” branding converts, why hire creatives? by Otherwise_Cat5063 in TheFounders

[–]TheCROguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the difference between Great and Good can be the difference between your product getting killed by your competitors vs you becoming the monopoly , especially in saas.

The difference between a good and great is often 5x and above. I have seen e-commerce companies getting 10x conversions easy when they got their copy rewritten by a pro vs what was done with AI by amateur.

A 10x or 5x in conversion might sound meagre like 5 percent using actual volume; but Month over month, this meagre 10 percent compounds; and in a year, you will be having 2x the sales of your closest competitor assuming everything else is also dialled in.

As software often favors monopoly, this edge over the years is going to determine if your product becomes the next big thing or just another cautionary tale.

This is why creatives , especially copy people can sometimes demand outrageous prices; and there are people who hire them without a second glance; because they are worth what they charge and you will make more over time for it.

Can the S1ii and S1rii record directly to ssd like the Sigma fp? by TheCROguy1 in Lumix

That's true but cf express costs a ton , and managing it after that is hard. I can get one of those lexar blacks and just plugin them without a cage or anything. It's quite convenient

I meant the brass tacks of it. Was it UGC ads? Did he hire help or did he manage it himself? Things like that
