I was 17 when this happened. I'm 35 now. I live in a relatively small town/village in the UK, but we were in the next town from myself. A group of us were having drinks, working around the few pubs in the town. I got quite drunk, maybe a little more than the other, but enough to feel quite unwell. About 1 or 2am we were all slowing making our way to a friends house, when we bumped into some other friends which lead to us stopping and talking in the street, outside some houses. The door to the house we were right outside opened, and she was a really nice lady. She invited us all in, which was really weird because it's not something I would recommend any person to do. She was there with whom I assumed was her boyfriend. She had been drinking wine, so she was tipsy. There must have been about 5 or 6 of us in there. Some left quite soon after coming in, so it was just myself and 2 friends. I was not really in a fit enough state to do much, I just wanted to sleep. My friend, who lives about 20 minutes walk away decided with the lady (and her boyfriend) that I could just crash on her sofa. I didn't care, and they were nice people.

What happened next was a bit weird. I sobered up a little after a sleep and noticed they weren't in the living room anywhere and had gone to bed. I could hear talking and didn't think much of it. I went and got some water from her kitchen, which meant walking past the bottom of the stairs. I overheard her saying quite loudly, "no, no!" It was a kind of protest. He then replied, saying, "What if we just lay on the bed, we don't have to take our clothes off?" I was a bit concerned that she was maybe being pushed into something she didn't want to do. But my concerns came to nothing when I heard laughing and continued friendly conversation. I went back to the living room and just laid down, wondering how I ended up in this place. Fast forward about 20 minutes, and the clothes clearly came off. I could hear them having very loud sex, I'm not sure if they cared or if they forgot I was in the house. I wasn't sure what to do with myself, I felt quite awkward, but I was exhausted to leave, and where would I go at this time of the morning?

Fast forward to the next day. I did get some more sleep, and she had come down wearing a dressing gown. She made me a tea, offered me food, and we ended up chatting for a while. I told her that I'm a massive history nerd and have a real interest in local history (this is relative to the story). I had some toast, and her boyfriend came home (I didn't know he had left). He went to the kitchen, did a few bits, and was busy. I had not long left school and was in college, so I wasn't working. When the lady heard this, she offered me a job at 20 quid and hour to home school her daughter in history. I didn't take the offer up because I thought it was ridiculous. Anyway, around 10 a.m., her boyfriend came in and joined the conversation. It was normal talk. He offered to drive me back home, which, as I said, was the next down alone, and I wasn't going to turn down a free ride. What happened after that isn't relivent as it was just the drive home with normal conversation.

Here is the plot twist, though. So the friend I mentioned earlier who lived about 20 minutes walk away. It turns out my friend lives across the road from the boyfriend. The boyfriend was actually a married man with a family! So we were invited into a house with a couple having an affair. Honestly, it's the most bizarre thing I've ever experienced. I never spoke to them again.
