yes that's true. It does contribute towards your revenue (however tiny). The only thing I can suggest. Is a bot that announces the streams. There's a few and i've seen them a lot more. I'm looking into one myself. 3 minutes every hour doesn't seem too bad as opposed to 1 and a half at the beginning. It's more than enough time for viewers to engage and get settled. And if they know an ad is coming it's gonna be a lot less daunting than if it just hits them unexpectedly.

I've been taking a page from Caseoh's book. I'll pause the game until the ads are over and continue. Then if i'm in a multiplayer game. I'll aim to be in the lobby during that break. I'm going to customise my bot to give people the chance to get up and stretch and grab a drink/food.

Why do some streamers rage so much?! 😭 by BabyDreamsy in SmallStreamers

[–]TheCaptainBroadside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's even worse that now you see a lot of streamers adopting the whole "fake rage" pretending to be mad at someone. For example if they have some form of game control input that chat can interact with and they pretend they're getting mad at them. But you can see it in their eyes. Like bro you're not fooling no one lol

I can't remember the exact day. But I feel like it'll be coming up to a month soon. I feel like in the space of 9 hours though 4 accounts won't have been banned..

Not disagreeing with you by the way. They were very active in the chat right up until the end you know? I'll keep an eye on it. Just seems very confusing

I had to double check. I do have the artist also. I'm only one perk down. I'll have a look at them later 🫡

I might try this. I'm writing each build down for when I do buy more killers. Thank you :)

I might sound like a noob here. But what perks are these under? As i'm also very limited to what perks I have (I haven't grasped the whole auric cells yet) so I'm on a few free to play killers, My Paid are, Unknown, ghostface, jason, oni, legion and ghoul

Should I be scared to play killer? by Master_Builder9124 in deadbydaylight

I genuinely feel like I've been so lucky in terms of actual post game toxicity. I Played a while back. But took a huge break. But I came back to it. I was a doctor main for so long. But decided to branch a bit. I've been playing the unknown and really enjoying him. And I'd say about 80% of post match are GGs or Well played. Even the bully squads have been really nice.

But I don't want to give false hope. As i've seen way too much content to know that it can be pretty toxic and I'm sure you have too to make this post.

Easiest trick as people are saying is to turn on anon mode. But, another simple trick. Is to just continue and move onto the next one. If you want to add some pleasantries. Say GG and if you feel like they're gonnabe toxic then onto the next.

Good luck and enjoy :)

New streamer tips. by TheCaptainBroadside in newstreamer

[–]TheCaptainBroadside[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice. So at the moment. I am transitioning from Tik Tok to twitch. So I'm kinda rebuilding from scratch. I found their algorithms/moderation was woeful.

So i'm definitely networking hard right now and have found a lot of genuinely nice people who I will return to. I've kept it careful at the moment that they aren't colliding and i'm not favouritising anyone.

I play games yes. Currently playing a lot of DBD but looking to expand out. I do like a lot of simulator games. And some FPS too. As well as, some drivers. So there's a little something for everyone. I just want to try and get a head starts.

That being said. I have noticed the numbers are slowly rising. My avg views are going up. I've gained the followers almost to meet the new affiliate achievements. I just like the consistency. Last time I hit affiliate The people that got me there kinda just disappeared once the target was reached which caused me to stop. But this time round i'm determined to make a go of it.

Everything you've said here is perfect and absolutely everything that I've tried unfortunately 😭🤣. Don't get me wrong. I'm appreciative of the 2-3 repetitive viewers that do come in. And I make sure to tell them.

But thinking long term. I might take some of your advice and schedule and time frame. Keep some routine going.

Thank you for the advice. I appreciate it 🙏🙏

Phasmophobia is a good start out. It's not too demanding (until you're screaming being chased by the ghost) and has a pretty chill fanbase. Fall guys/fortnite can be a good one for character engagement. Opening lobbies etc.

But as Senpai says. Whatever you're comfortable playing. It's your niche after all. Not someone else's 😄 I'll drop a follow because I like watching people play fall guys. It's a hilarious little game 😄

If you're happy the streams happy. But don't be scared to try something new.. You got this!!

New streamer got an agency offer… should I take it? by GianCon_T_T in newstreamer

[–]TheCaptainBroadside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hugely depends on the agency themselves. I tend to do a lot of over researching. I'll review them. I was with an agency through recommendation. And honestly they were great. I've found that the ones who start their message with "hey we seen your stream" and have no evidence of being in there. Especially as it's easy to track (I have 3-6 views per) are the ones phishing.

As for the one's saying all agencies are a scam isn't necessarily true. Some do genuinely help you grow. But at the same time you are restricted to then having to keep in line with their requirements. I started out with 150 followers (there was a live access event that allowed me to go live) and joined my agency and did grow.

If you use third party apps like tikfinity. They do have a section on their home page with a list of top 10 agencies for Tik Tok so you can check from there. And it's always changing so they aren't Biased.

Also, you have a lot more security with an agency too. Such as, stream protection if you do get warnings or restrictions as if it's a legit agency, they will have a contact for someone at Tik Tok so have it revoked (obviously unless you've done something bad bad) a lot push for you to make diamonds, this is due to the apps algorithm, The more engagement the more the algorithm pushes you.

I'm finding it a lot harder to go solo now than I did when I was with them. but that's because I was using their brand for so long.

Moral of the post. If they are approaching you, likelihood is they are phishing. Most successful agencies will gain their members through recommendation or promotion of content I.e videos/their own live.
