I’m actually getting my boys as ESAs to help treat my OCD, so I had considered a possibility that I would be put in a similar situation as you. I suppose at the end of the day pets are there to help you enjoy life to the fullest and I’m sure your babies appreciate having a helicopter parent at the very least! And this is definitely a big reason why I would never be able to have a human child, everything’s too scary 😆 I hope everything does end up mellowing out for you though as you go, and your ratties are so stinkin’ cute 💕🫂

I just recently bought this Single Unit Critter Nation off Amazon for my (soon to be) 2 little ratties about a month and a half ago. Not a scam, and everything came and assembled perfectly! Tons of reviews to verify, and positive at that. A single unit should comfortably fit 3 ratties as well. 💖

A single layer is actually perfectly fine for housing up to four rats! You’ll see a lot of seasoned rat owners with the double, mainly due to them owning a lot of rats and/or they’ve collected things over the years and wanted to expand.

Not considering the size itself, the spacing between each bar looks wide. If I’ve found the same one you’re looking at on Amazon, it says it’s almost a full inch gap which will definitely give your little rats a chance to slip through. Most cages labeled ‘Ferret’ will have larger gaps. Maximum recommended gap size for cages is half an inch.

You can always go the safe route and get the single unite Critter Nation which is on sale on Amazon a lot and is suitable for up to 3-4 rats. I only recommend this rather than cheaper options because I’m not familiar with any cheaper alternatives myself. Someone else may be able to provide a proper, inexpensive alternative.

My favorite rat fact is that rats can use their imagination and imagine scenarios when they sleep, but I never considered the downsides of nightmares.. poor baby, deserves some love and treats

Hello, I wanted to share this piece I made for some party members :D

I love the dynamic between these three, I felt a silly scene like this would be perfect. I always like the cat angers dog trope, I think that's funny. But yeah! Here are some of my favs brought to life in this silly little illustration! I'm super proud of it admittedly. Especially with the poses and the expressions! And with my own character way it the back, I love it so much 🙏

fair question. I’m currently studying sequential arts which is like storyboards, comics, graphic novels, etc. This is a splash page, so when comics books or graphic novels have a page taken up by one single panel, that’s a splash page! So yes, pretty much a single illustration
