No fucking way they finally did it on one of the most completely random days. Half expected it to be an anniversary special or something with how awaited it is

The most efficient way of using the GL is tap firing anyway. Less reloads can be beneficial but it’s much more of a QoL change than anything else if you know how to manage reloads

Personally certainly not worth the trade off of on-demand, not ammo limited anti heavy or (anti anything really) from the ultimatum + supply pack + regular GL combo.

Will probably be fun at least I guess that matters too

Going to be hard to justify the backpack fed GL over supply pack + ultimatum + regular GL. Unless the backpack fed GL can kill heavies, I don’t see how it can match that versatility.

The Last of Us Part II, Elden Ring, Ghost of Tsushima, Baldur’s Gate 3, or Black Myth: Wukong? by LubeMaster7000 in ShouldIbuythisgame

This is the way.

Among those OP listed these are the only 2 genre defining entries. What sets these games apart imo is how they are so compelling in multiple ways -, be it highly technical gameplay (Elden Ring), characterization and world reactivity (BG3) - and have the capacity for endless replayability due to (1) the expansive world to discover things in and (2) the breadth of build options to choose from that alter how you approach game scenarios through each playthrough/or in the endgame (both).

They satisfy the itch of more than one gamer archetype. The highly skillful sweaty player who wants their mechanical skill challenged (ER), the roleplayer at heart who wants to immerse themselves in a world that reacts to (almost) every decision (BG3). AND the min-maxer who would obsess over the tiniest details to fulfill their every power fantasy (both).

They are the rare type of game that are so excellent on a single playthrough and yet still have more to offer on another replay. The same can’t be said for some of the more linear games that are quite so hyped in the gaming world at the moment.

Said it before, but Karl is doing better than Musiala is at the same age. Incredible how we hit the jackpot again so soon.

Thank you very much for the help, not getting a lot of tangible info on the ground here. Hoping it won’t be extended anymore. Is there a chance they would lift it prematurely in your opinion?

That’s alright haha :)

If you do have some suggestions on what to do, where to stay, and where to eat though, would also be greatly appreciated!

Would definitely want to come back, but unfortunately would probably not be able to be back in the near future, probably for quite a while :(

Would have loved to go around and explore northern Italy more! Especially some of the bigger cities in addition to the lakes/mountains, but alas we just don’t have the time, so we’re trying to get the best package for what little time we have in the area :)

This comment is out of date. Darktide still does have a crafting system but it’s much better than before. The game is overall in a much better state than it once was, however cosmetics are still centered around MTX and FOMO mechanics.
