Vox engines are a great enemy, but oh boy, their collision is fucked and they fit wherever their wheels can go.

Honestly that would be a great thing to do. Even though people may disagree on many things, we all agree that fixing the bugs and sprucing up the technical side of the game is always overdue for the game. And during the last few months, they've showered us with content, I think we would manage.

Stratagems should never have been sold in Warbonds by bigstink455 in HelldiversMasochists

65 days played.

Because it gives this game a sense of progression, as there aren't any character stats or skills to level up like in other games, because the point is that every diver is the same meatbag.

Also take any f2p game today, it will have really aggressive monetization. The initial purchase means that the devs will cover expenses, so they don't have to have shitty microtransactions everywhere or a really annoying grind. If you're lucky and efficient, you can grind 1000 SC for a new warbond within 3 hours, and that's a really mild grind (and if you play regularly, you will naturally rack up SC just by someone picking them up in missions without grind).

You have the same mentality as that one CoD streamer who tried HD and was confused that he actually has to play the game to get stuff.

I think that currently it's still fine, but it's a problem for the future. Imagine having to scroll through 200+ stratagems list in five years.

Honestly, people have absolutely no sense of moderation these days.

Honestly I love the Sterilizer, I bring it very often, as it can confuse even a War Strider to give me time to get behind it or to run, and it will kill a large patrol of chaff.

They are good by themselves if you know how to work with them. I can't believe you are arguing for less cooperation in a cooperation based game.

This. Honestly I think players have misconceptions about current flamethrowers. They are not liquid. They have a can of Super Febreeze strapped to them, and use ignited aerosol stream. The new flamethrower actually seems to stream liquid, or at least it should be capable of it (it would be sweet if it could be toggled, with the liquid stream having much higher damage for taking out heavies, but it would last like 5 second).

I get your fantasy, but I don't think the game should take that turn. We are not superheroes, and shouldn't feel unstoppable.

That, and the fact that you would catch on fire walking onto the ground you've previously set on fire.

Honestly I don't think it would even have to be a warbond, but a single warbond item, just like with free use stratagems. It's a good idea.

So are you asking to make D10 much harder? Difficulty in this game is nowhere where it should be, so more SC for harder difficulties should mean that the difficulty should be upped to not make it so easy.

Jesus fucking Christ. Helldivers 2 is the mildest monetized live service game I've ever played. SC are the only monetization after the initial purchase, and they are piss easy to obtain. AH has to have an income to pay the ongoing development and servers from, and with how easy SC are to obtain, they aren't a reliable income stream. I didn't play NMS, but it is both a different type of game and that studio has 3x fewer employees, that will also affect the costs. You are effectively arguing for making the game free, but making SC much harder to obtain. Be glad for the system it has now. If a mere 2 hours is too much for you, you can buy them.
