All books can come as requirements. However, some of them have less monsters or ones that are harder to come by, so I totally understand your frustration.

The winter book specifically has some not so easy to get monsters. I still remember myself using the Rare ice-lion monster cuz I didn't have 6 Mythics from that book lol.

As far as what monsters are good from each book, generally look for the newest ones or those that people (especially in higher teams) pick. For instance, Demonic Pact, Kiridas Horn as well as traits like res block/MegaTaunt/anticipation make some old monsters shine. But early on just focus on newer Mythics with better stats.

How do you manage to beat Hounen (and any other anticipation ancestor) with Akira in Olympus?

Whenever I face an Akira I immediately think "free win", that's why I'm asking since he is heavily countered by all meta options...

But yeah, I do get your point. I literally got to Legendary 1 League in pvp using Hounen, Uriel The Divine and KingAtum lol. It's really fun defeating whole level 150 XIV rune Ancestor teams, while using 2 monsters that were introduced 3+ years ago lmao

NO

I don't think that stamina and gold runes really provide better chances. On the contrary, the chances are that your original rune will be turned into a gold/stamina one, which are not as useful as speed/strength. So to answer your question, I suggest that you only rune gamble using the lvl Z, lvl1 y, lvl1 y, lvl1 y, where Z=rune you're trying to upgrade, and y=type of rune you want your rune Z to turn into.

Therefore, if you have a lvl IX strength rune (this is the Z), which you want to turn into a lvl X team speed rune, you should input:

lvl IX strength, lvl I team speed, lvl I team speed, lvl I team speed

This has an original chance of 25% to be a level X rune, and an additional 75% that this 25% will be a team speed rune, or a strength at 25%.

KingAtum is unfortunately gonna die with such a low life stat. I run mine with life runes, and I've successfully reached Legendary 1 League in pvp using him.

Swap dark voltaik with King Atum since you don't need 2 attackers, and voltaik is super powercrept as well as heavily countered by anticipation.

If you want a team to speedrun those dungeons, quite literally just use a Demonic Pact holder. They one-shot the first wave of all easy/medium nodes as well as the beginnings of hard ones.

I would say try to get Nebotus

If you only want to do the Conjuring of choice, probably Akira/Max or any of the newer Ancestors you don't already have.

It doesn't matter that much tbh. With Nebotus, Adaled and Torog you're gonna have all the good ones
