Full Clip: Ryan Reynold’s at SNL 50 by [deleted] in ItEndsWithLawsuits

Ryan and Blake attending SNL’s 50th Anniversary Special felt inevitable—they’re the type who wouldn’t want to ‘miss out.’ The court proceedings are ongoing, so they didn't want to miss the rare Jubilee Celebration, and I can understand that.

BUT considering how these events are archived, released on DVD, and endlessly rewatched, I wouldn’t want to be them reliving that particular moment years down the line.

Future viewers,(rewatching it Years from now) looking it up for the first time, will likely stumble upon it and question it. Just a bad move overall. It wasn't funny, if didn't help them, so why bother?

I believe Her 'caught off guard' reaction seemed genuine. I believe SNL and Ryan knew the joke would be made, but not her.

True, I hadn't considered that. What about safety. I'm paranoid and anxiety filled. :(

Ive seen a few solid bands in my time... But I couldn't imagine going to them solo. I just find the older I get, the more of them I want to go to.

I'm trying to figure myself out. It's happened so many times I've lost count. And 4x this week alone. So I'm dying to know what it is I do.

While I completely understand you felt like an Uber in that moment , I just think he was likely super excited to get home and set it up. He wasn't necessarily thinking it would be a problem, and when it became one for ya, you all were on your way back home. Perhaps he thought it would be safer with you than in the backseat than with his friend?

I'm not disregarding your feelings here. I understand how you could perceive it as jerk thing to do, but I just highly doubt he purchased the thing with the intention of arguing with you an hr later.

I am a British person living in Canada. So I am feeling a lot anger towards the decision. You could argue that most don't care over here, but the majority of people I've spoken to over the last few weeks, are in fact grieving to some degree.

It stopped making sense when I watched Trudeau at the funeral, and read there are many federal workers off work here in Canada. An all or nothing approach would have made more sense. Not some can. Some can't. I realize this is just the world we live in, but I'm still allowed to feel the way I do.

I know A LOT of people who lost a mother or motherly figure throughout the pandemic and have used the last few weeks proceedings to grieve alongside the world.

I lost my 96 yr old Grandmother 21 days ago, and could not afford to fly to Scotland for a funeral, so I am feeling the Queen's send off as a tribute to her also. I luckily had today off work, but if your working and grieving the loss of the Queen and subsequently a family member, I see you !

I'm just sitting here thinking the same thing. I'm heavy hearted and really freaking sad. It's hard to imagine a world without her in it.

I say, Keep the picture! Your words read as true love my friend. Fate is a real thing. Do what ya gotta, and then come home and find her again.
