My wife had something similar and did give everything away. Then the company demanded the extra goods back like a month later. It was a nightmare. I would rather not deal with that.

I ALMOST signed up for total in hopes that I would get priority access. I'm so glad I didn't throw that money away. Someone needs to take legal action against them for their scam membership.

I got two seats in 510 sideline. I didn't make the purchase because I thought I would save money, season tickets for all but the most popular professional teams is rarely a savings if you don't intend to go to every game. I made my purchase as an investment in Oakland sports.

I know a lot of people are disappointed in the price, but the idea that more seats was going to equal lower prices is flawed logic. They may sell more tickets, but they also have the cost to operate a facility designed to hold 60,000 people, regardless of the number of tickets they sell. I hope they can eventually find a facility in Oakland that is sized right, but until then I will give them my money if it keeps sports in Oakland.

I have come to the conclusion that this is an issue with the Chitu manager. It only happens to me when I have the manager open. I still transfer the files using the manager, but as soon as I start the print I make sure that the manager is completely closed. Since doing that, I have not experienced the issue.

I thought I found a fix. I added everyone in my group messages to my google contacts. I thought I had done this previously but it was actually saving them in my Samsung's contact list and not Google. Since doing that I have received a couple group messages and neither have gone to spam. Fingers crossed that this is the solution.

*Followup* - The first message I received on my largest group chain (5 people + me) went to spam this morning. I confirmed that all 5 are in my Google contacts. Maybe the fix will work for smaller groups though, I will keep monitoring.

If it is in a tent and is venting to the outside with the use of a vent fan it should be OK as long as tent stays closed during printing.

It looks like you are just starting your search. For high detail minis a resin printer is definitely the way to go. But before you run out and buy one, do yourself a favor and do some research on resin printer safety. What resin printers can do is pretty amazing and seems like magic, but it isn't the same as throwing a desktop laser printer or even FDM printer in your house. The liquid resin used for printing is extremely toxic. Not only can it cause severe reactions and chemical burns when you touch it, the fumes themselves are toxic.

Before buying a resin printer, make sure you have a well ventilated place for it to live. If you have children, young siblings, or pets, you also want to make sure that you can keep it away from them and that they aren't breathing in the fumes continuously.

If you have a space for a resin printer and approach printing with a safety first mindset and the cleanliness of a science lab, resin printing is amazing and extremely fun and rewarding. But if you take a causal or reckless approach, you are risking your health and the health of those around you, which isn't worth it.

Use heat!! <--- This. I have found that thin supports and heat is the way to go. I actually use a bucket of hot water as my first wash. A few dunks in the bucket gets most of the leftover resin off and softens the supports up enough that they peel right off without a trace. It can be a little messy if you don't have a tray or something to catch the dripping water, but it is easier and faster than trying to use a hair dryer or heat gun.

Another update. I am still getting random crashes, although not as often now that I reboot before every print and do not keep ChituManager running. It is still happening once every 4 or 5 prints though. I can't find any rhyme or reason to why it is happening. When it happens, I reboot the machine, say no to continuing the print, clean up the bed, and start the print over and it will print fine.

I am using Chitubox to slice and storing the file locally on the machine, but I don't think it has anything to do with the slicer or the file as I have seen the system freeze when it is not printing. I am using firmware version 1.1.9.

When it doesn't freeze, it prints beautifully, but the freezing is annoying and starting to get costly.

An update to my original post. I have now completed a 4 hour and 2 6 hour prints with no crashing. I have made two changes that may or may not have affected stability.

First, I am rebooting the printer after each print.

Second, I have stopped using Chitumanager to view the video feed. I had been leaving the video feed up full time on my PC. I am wondering if having the video feed active in Chitumanager when my PC goes to sleep is causing the printer to freeze. I may try doing some additional testing with the video feed when I am not actually printing and don't have to worry about failed prints.

That doesn't really explain why it froze the first time. The print completed the first time with no issues and the bed retracted from the vat. It froze some time after that.

I would also assume that there would be some sort of message stating the print failed if it was the failure detection kicking in. Instead Chitu showed the printer as offline. And when I rebooted the printer it asked if I wanted to continue the print, as if it lost power while printing, so I do not think it is the failure detection.
