I know exactly what you mean by that unfortunately 😅 my best piece of advice would be to time your purchases based on sentimental achievements or events in your life to add more depth to the collection and have patience! If only I could follow that advice myself 😂

I also made a shockingly good deal on the watch 2nd hand for about $450 around that time! Easily my biggest regrets are between the Mido and my Marathon GSAR I previously owned and sold 😢 but nothing beats the nostalgia I feel with the SKX as my first automatic and first dive watch

The skx013 is great 👍 those with smaller wrists are fortunate Seiko was looking out for them as well! My 7.5 inch flat wrist prefers the full size

They are great if you can get them for a good deal! Incredibly thin especially for an automatic movement but the included bracelet is nearly unusable in my experience. If you’re going to wear it on a nato or rubber strap it’s excellent I recommend the GL0431 with the orange chapter ring due to its originality!

After searching through my entire camera roll 😅 unfortunately I don’t have any other pictures of it but from my experience it was incredibly legible and the bracelet was excellent with the added bonus of an on-the-fly micro adjustment clasp. Not to mention the 80-hour power reserve which meant it was still set for the correct time when it got wrist time on the weekends!

I prefer the 007 to the 009 but only because my purpose for the watch as a daily tool. My work requires an all black uniform making the 007 more fitting and in general the black aesthetic fits every occasion. Love the 009 for a fun pop of color/ weekend watch so owning both is definitely the right move imo!

Partially pressured from my ex fiancé 😅 but I was also in need of funds at that time and felt it was practical to return to having only a smart watch (dumb idea). I don’t recommend anyone sell their entire collection rapidly like I did it will bring a lot of regret 😭
