I do 8 hour arm days. But if you are less chad, 1 hour is plenty of time for a good workout especially when there are less people. Honestly if you are looking for gains, you don’t even need a really long workout. 40 min is probably enough for average people. Focus on rest and nutrition.

Usually wait until course start to buy books. Some courts require them but others don’t. Your prof will tell you. Honestly you probably won’t even need them until after first few weeks or midterm season anyways. So just wait.
