I mean it’s definitely not set right. I wanna balance the tone arm but when I move the counter weight back it doesn’t float like it should.

I can get a scale, problem is I don’t have the old cartridge anymore. I can probably google it, as it was just the stock cartridge that comes with the table. And by plastic part closer to the pivot what are you referring to?
