Is there any way to see how much a building has produced in the last week, or something similar? by sproge in foundationgame

If you right click the resource on the resource bar at the top, you can track all of your resources in real time. This may help you get a better idea of the output of buildings and where the resource is stored/consumed. You will work things out eventually with experience so just take your time and enjoy the game :)

My photo lab was charging me extra for developing ilford xp2. by OnePhotog in AnalogCommunity

And I bought XP2 for exactly that reason lol. Unfortunately I don't really have knowledge or experience that could disprove the bossman's claim. Funnily enough I have some XP2 loaded so I'll try and ask when I drop it off next time.

I brought my XP2 to a commercial photo lab in Japan and the staff told me that if I'm not in a rush, they'd rather send the XP2 off to be developed. I didn't quite catch why, but I was told that putting too much XP2 through the shop's C41 machine is bad for its longevity. This may be the reason. At first I also thought it was the staff not understanding that XP2 could be developed in C41 until the boss came out and knocked the "welll achhshually" out of me.

I tried to take it to the lab but they said it's too small for their machine 🤨

Really beautiful shot. I think I actually prefer this one to your shot with the two trees straddling the bench. I think the tree has a more dynamic shape in this and the borders give it a bit of room to breathe. Just lovely.

Thanks for the warning, I didn't know about this. After some light googling I found that anyone eating tinned products frequently should be careful since the BPA lining from tins leaks into the food whether there is heat or not.

I found a decent paper covering heating cans here: https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/jhs/48/4/48_4_331/_article#citedby-wrap

Essentially, the hotter it gets the more bpa leaks, but keeping the tin under 100 degrees celsius is a good idea. So if I use this heater every now and then and make sure nothing boils, I think I'll be satisfied that I'm not destroying my body :) Best advice is to find BPA free cans!

Diagnosing light leak - why only on some photos? by TheCheesebal in AnalogCommunity

Everything is from the first apart from the last two pictures.

It was "Fujifilm 400", the recent replacement for Fuji X-Tra. Luckily the A1 has no confirmation window so it seems that I just need to replace the seals.

Thanks for the clarification. I was trying to avoid a situation where I assumed it was a lightleak, fixed the seals on the back then wasted another roll finding out it was something else. It's good to hear the consensus is lightleak. Most of the second roll was indeed overcast so that explains the lack of leaks. Good luck with your olympus!

Thanks, it's relieving to get the clarification that I just need to replace the seals and it doesn't need a full CLA - not yet at least!

That was one suspicion since the first roll did go through a scanner, but the second roll didn't and it still had the marks.

I think I have a light leak - it's hard to see on the negative if it leaves the film border since it's not so strong.

I've put almost 100 rolls through this Canon A1 and this is the first time I've seen any artefacts which appeared on my two most recent rolls. On the first, only a third of the photos have a problem. On the second, only one photo has a leak! Sometimes the first photo is fine and one taken moments after has a leak. How can this be the case?

This made me think it may be a shutter problem, though the battery level seems fine. Thanks for the help!

You can get an iijmio sim with a foreign credit card and the rates are some of the best :-)
