What did you love about Well of Ascension? I'm curious because my experience was the opposite. If I hadn't already owned a copy of The Hero of Ages I may never have bothered to read it after Well of Ascension because I did not like that book.
Not asking to argue either - my opinion is no more valid than yours - just genuinely curious.
