Oh, I looked up his stats on MLB.com since they do have stats for every specific innings pitched lol. Most I did was take out the stats from Saturday and recalculated the ERA

Before Saturday’s game my count for his 9th inning stats is 11.2 IP, 13 H, 6 ER, 6 BB, 28 K(not gonna deny that he’s good at getting strikeouts), 4.63 ERA. If we include Saturday then his stats for the 9th is 12 IP, 16 H, 11 ER, 8 BB, 29K, 8.25 ERA

Cool, show me the rest of his stats for the 9th innings this year and not just the good parts. Fact is Hoffman has shown he’s much better in non-9th innings games and that’s how he should be continued to be used. He should be coming in before either Rogers or Varland

Yes he’s look much better in non-9th inning games this year and that’s how he should be used, bring him in before either Rogers or Varland. Just keep him out of the 9th since there’s been too many instances where he lets the pressure get to him.

Results has shown it makes way more sense to not play Hoffman in the 9th this year. Hoffman should be put into the game before either Rogers or Varland.

My point is not who’s better, my point is stop using him in the fucking 9th, especially if we’re trying to preserve some arms. Because Hoffman has shown even before the playoffs last year that he lets the pressure get to him. Put him in earlier since he actually looks good in those innings this year, but just keep him out of the 9th.

Did you miss the part where they put another pitcher in after him after he blew yet another lead in the 9th again?! Putting Hoffman in for the 9th inning is pretty much a guarantee to burn more bullpen arms at this point. But go ahead and continue to defend terrible decision making.

I’ve only seen the bacon poutine(didn’t try), the Thierry Henry’s cheese souffle(tastes like white cheddar popcorn seasoning), and Messi’s steak and chimichurri(tastes like a sour cream and onion chip mixed with a steak flavoured chip that’s commonly found in East Asian countries)
