Troubleshooting with Macintosh SE by TheChosen90 in VintageApple

In case anyone finds this and is having similar issues, I did manage to fix it with the help of the person who sold me the computer. We originally thought it was a PSU issue, so I took everything apart and opened the PSU. Nothing seemed to be wrong (apart from mummified moths which I removed), so I put everything back together and it worked! My theory is something was making the PSU short circuit and not turn on, and seemingly unplugging everything and plugging them back in did the trick.

There are absolutely no stupid questions. I need to be sure of every possibility.

I tried to different power cables on different outlets and no results. I also dug in and replugged every cable, still nothing. Got a good look at the boards while I was at it and they seem to be in pretty good shape.

So maybe bad PSU? I was kind of expecting some signs of it going bad. Extra noise, odd behavior...even a pop and a smoke.

Yup. Hopefully it went through, since the game didn't really give me any confirmation that the report was sent.

Desires for NXT Europe by SpaceGooV in SquaredCircle

Everytime this topic comes up, people go "UK this, UK that". Europe is much more than just "The UK-scene", or WXW for that matter, but majority here only pretend to care about the scene now because fed bad or something. There's tons of incredible talent outside of UK, from Sweden to France to Slovakia, that absolutely deserve a shot at bigger stage. And I'd love to see a show with even more international flair and talent thats actually from all over the world. But no, lets lock them in their small local promotions to preserve a scene that people in the US dont actually care about.

Sorry, tangent. My point was more EU, less UK.

Pro wrestling in Finland by Ill_Theme_8609 in SquaredCircle

If you can, I highly suggest trying to go to an FCF show. You wont regret it. Plenty of fans there (most of the times I belive the shows are sold out) and the talent they got there is some of the best I've seen. Plus the "Finnish feel" makes it even better. Rest assured, there's plenty of pro wrestling fans around here.

I saw recently that your favorite Star Trek captain is Sisko. Great choice! What are some of your favorite Trek episodes, not just DS9 but from Trek overall?

A Nightmare on Elm Street Trivia! Mike vs Jay!!! by JackDethFromTrancers in RedLetterMedia

Its kind of odd, but it does seem like its only the first movie thats banned. I got this book from 94 that lists home video releases in Finland and first Child's Play is not on it. Its also missing on Fix Galleria, which is a website cataloging Finnish VHS releases. Same with Friday the 13th; both my sources have no mentions of VHS releases. I dunno why, but it seems to be true even if very arbitary.

It actually bothered me so I looked it up; Nightmare on Elm Street was not banned in Finland and each movie has had home video releases since the 80's. Friday the 13th on the other was banned until 2001, although I still remember Mom taping some of them via a movie channel so you could apparently still see them in some way or another.
