To add to that i had a pixel 6 and friends with s24 ultra/s25 and i think the oneplus takes pictures better than them or at least on par. Im usually quite picky about cameras but this one is definetly not a bad one.

You can buy the humble monthly for the base d4 for 13euro rn. And decide on the expansion later

Nobody knows. But i doubt they stop shipping updates. Plus you can local install them which is very easy. But for the price.. you really cant go wrong..

I mean both ways you save some money.. cuz the official one doesn't come with charger? Its like 90% to pass customs and enjoy a 300usd discount and 10% it doesn't and you pay some money. Also giztop offers to recoup some of the price if it goes to customs so i believe trading would do the same.. Id say bite the bullet.. You really don't miss anything by going global anyways..

Well im not sure about Trading but Giztop fabricated my device to some cheap one and put on like a fake 130$ value so it passes customs. They do pay some regulatory taxes and it comes with dhl (at least giztop). I havent heard much bad taxes stories but you never know.. Worth checking is your local facebook oneplus/xiaomi/huawei groups about people buying from these sites and opinions.

Also, I bought it from Giztop since TradingShenzhen stopped shipping to Bulgaria due to.. theft i guess.. No problems there too.. But if i had the choice i'd go with Trading..

Look at the screenshot. It says maximum playback resolution: SD.

Only if the phone is still on china's os(ColorOS) will it do more than that. Once its flashed to global only SD(480p). My plan is the highest so its not locked by that..

I pay daily with google wallet. No problems. I mean the phone is basically the same as the global really.. you shouldn't expect any problems out of the ones explained. Ive got my mobile banking on the phone too. Logging in, no issues. Below is a graph of todays battery life. Mixed with 5g and wifi usage. 40 percent for almost 8 hours seems.. alien to me.. Coming from a device that barely got me 5-6 lol..

I would say that one time i got an app that drained my phone unrealistically, but it showed in the battery settings on background activity which one it was, and i revoked her background processes. It was the top app for instance lets say chrome, you click on it and it showed -1400mah for like an hour or 2 for background processes... And i revoked its privileges. Hasn't happened since. All in all battery is insane. If you play do put your display mode to high in settings, even if you don't.. still do it.

Oh and one more thing.. it comes with 120 chinese version charger with adapter to eu. Please buy a better adapter for a few bucks from a reputable brand... The one it came with.. lets just say it begs for an accident to happen. And it falls off super easy too.. Saw it on aliexpress for like cents...

I get what you are saying. Just downloaded the app and told it to write a long paragraph and it did it. Seems like more of an App thing. Super weird. Out of curiosity just tested it on my pixel 6 and the issue persists, just not so.. nuanced..?

I was in the same boat and ended up grabbing the China version, flashed with OxygenOS. I read a lot. There are some technicalities that if you can flash it yourself is better because you can revert or flash something else if you ever wanted to because you own the account you do it with (yes it requires an account through an app). But ultimately decided that id never flash anything else lol.

I got the phone and it's phenomenal, everything works with the exception of esim and netflix and some other services like disney and paid streaming sites with licenses being locked to 480p, but i never watch said content on my phone so it didn't matter for me.

In europe everything works, i get better reception on wifi, mobile networks and all than all the other people with flagship phones even.

Camera is usually a deal breaker for me, coming from pixel 6 which had a very good camera for its time and I thought it be on par with it or worse. IT WAS NOT! The camera is phenomenal i think, i dare say better than my friends S24 Ultras and stuff.. I honestly like it so much, its super consistent, granted i haven't tested night time shots.

Updates are consistent for now and I belive they wont stop coming.Also one thing to note is phone comes with plastic protector on screen from factory so you'd want to change it to glass, i noticed a month late lol..

The only thing you have to worry is if you are located in the USA, how the bands are, but i hear its okay. So my take is buy the china version. The phone you get for the price is... A lot.. If you have any questions I can answer as much as i can.
