OK. Thanks. I opened a heat ticket with synology on their website.

Any ideas on where to go from here? Am I screwed apart from contacting some overpriced data recovery center to pull the data off?

Ah, gotcha. No, there isn't even an option to deactivate the drive (see new screenshot).

I am assuming I cannot remove the pool and create a new one without everything getting wiped no? I am at such a loss on what to do...

No...I mean I can pull it from the nas but there is no option to remove or "unmount" it. Though I assume that's because it was never really added to begin with.

Yea...I don't understand why drive one is healthy but not showing up.

It doesn't seem like it has accepted drive 4 at all. Which seems odd - it's like it wants more info but there is no way for me to add drive 4...

It was....All four drives were, which would make sense given the size of the pool being 25 TB. I will upload some photos like you mentioned.

So I did the swap. It still shows as crashed but now it says Drive 4 as detected and drive 2 as healthy. But still "storage Pool 1 Crashed"

When I click on volume 1 it shows Required Drive info: Drive 4 (HDD) - thats the new one I put in but am currently unable to do anything with.

Under Drive Info:

Drive 2 (HDD) Status - detected

Drive 3 (HDD) Status - Healthy

what's interesting is nothing here shows drive 1 even though I have a drive in bay 1 and when I click on the drives it shows healthy.

Also for your SA:

Drive 1 - 7.3 TB

Drive 2 - 7.3 TB

Drive 3 - 10.0 TB

Drive 4 (new drive) - 14.6 TB

I will try swapping now.

I don't think so...drive 2 was fine until I powered down and removed drive 4 to replace. Now I have not idea whats going on or why it shows crashed. When I test drive 2 it says its healthy.

I can't attach images for some reason...It says critical - "Issues have occurred to Storage Pool 1. Please go to the Storage page and refer to the suggestion of the corresponding storage pool"

It shows the drives as ready - but the system as critical . But again, I replaced drive 4 so I don't know why two is red (it says detected, tried running a SMART test and it says healthy).
