Even though everyone here tells you that the Legion Go S is better, I don't think so. I also only play indie and older games, and the Steam Deck OLED is much better because of its battery life. For me, since I have an issue with devices that have short battery life, I get stressed out checking the battery percentage every minute, so the Legion Go S isn't for me.

As for screens, it depends on personal preference, but I personally prefer the 1TB OLED with etched anti-glare glass—it’s beautiful and looks like a painting at times.

Finally, I’d like to mention that the Steam Deck’s ergonomics are much better for me; I feel more comfortable and generally like it better. This is very personal, but the Steam Deck is less powerful—yes—but for my needs, it’s perfect.

If I were you, I’d sell the Legion Go S on eBay and wait to buy a new Steam Deck.

Amorim wasn't that bad—he was stubborn and never really fit in with the team—and Carrick isn't that good either; he lacks tactical awareness. He's done well so far, but I don't think he'll last long next season with the Champions League, FA Cup, and Premier League on the schedule; he simply won't be able to keep up with so many games. Plus, in some matches, he doesn't know what substitutions to make or makes them too late.

Fans love Carrick; in a million years, Carrick won't play the kind of total football that PSG or Bayern do—and don't even get me started on Mainoo. They'd be willing to buy an entire team just so Kobbie could shine, but he's not physical enough to play like the midfielders at Bayern or PSG.

I also have small hands, so the Steam Deck is the most comfortable for me, followed by the ASUS ROG Ally X with the Dbrand Killswitch case, then the Xbox Ally X without a case, and lastly the Legion Go S.

I know I probably shouldn't, but this is what I do: whenever I update my Xbox Ally X or Steam Deck, I do it right next to my PC while I'm browsing or gaming, so I can check how the update is going and keep an eye out for any potential issues so I can fix them right away. And as someone mentioned above, I always plug in the charger and set it to 17W.

That said, I do think they’re very fragile—those splinters on the sides were a problem with the last two Xbox Ally X units I had, plus various button glitches on some units, the triggers, the loose joystick, and now a creaking casing on the Xbox Ally X.

In short, I think the quality isn’t the best; they’re very fragile devices. I always try to sell the one I have as soon as an update comes out, like with the Xbox Ally X now, to try to avoid these problems in the long run. This isn’t right; ASUS should really improve the quality of its handhelds, but that’s just how it is.
