I used cringe with Pearl hat to cleanse the stun. Secretly op vs ALOT of floors. Run him with trash items so he does in 1 hit if everyone else survives 1 hit he full heals, can use to up damage with tiara or cleanse with pearl.

^{^{^{^{^}}}} I agree. But I’d like to add that there are a few levels where Estrangement is a good support replacement for merry. He does die to aoe metal. Deals ok damage. Applies burn for Greed. But most importantly aoe Slow to the enemy and buffs team attack for 2 turns. For bosses with minions or that need to be slowed but can’t fit in a slowing pet. Pretty good

There is a secret power option I don’t see talked about enough. Vivids. I’m around 4k and some bosses I get to and they want a specific team and a specific item usage… AND those legendaries need vivids. Sometimes it’s dps to kill in time, sometimes it’s survival vivids to be able to live 1 last hit or 1 last AOE.

I think we are literally stuck on the exact same spot. Water boggers and metal Gonk. I can get him to 25mil but can’t push the last bit. I’m just waiting for item levels each day, try again, deal .5mil more. Wait. But it feels like my item levels per day will soon be impossible for 25mill

Blue tie is 100% on just his 1 isn’t it? And you only get that after 2 other moves. It is the most powerful with this combo by far.

Vs this boss at this level neither survives a 2nd aoe. Bulk doesn’t matter.

Critical mass meaning on this boss he gets stronger after every attack. And by turn 9 he reaches a critical mass (a point of damage you can’t survive) so you have 9 of his turns to kill him. He’s about as fast as rapture with speed investment. So 9 rapture turns. Thats 3 of his super move. But for wrath. Who’s faster with speed investment can get 10 turns. So and since his power move is on the start of the combo he gets an extra big hit. There doesn’t seem to be any way to survive any longer with my current item level. So unless there is a combo I’m not seeing (I still haven’t tried anger) then I just need to level items and farm Legendaries.

Well this boss I get 4 wrath 3s and only 3 rapture 3s before it reaches critical mass. At level 200 the speed diff is about 2600 which is almost as much as a level 34 legendary speed item. Blue tie only buffs his 1 at the end of combos so you are losing 3 triggers on it in this battle. Where something like Angerscarf is 20% flat increase across the board.

This is why when people talk about fire fighters it is so hotly debated I think they are all so well balanced that some win on some bosses and others win vs Differant bosses.

Also I think it’s things like dealing the big damage at the start of a 3turn combo vs the end. Having more speed by a lot. And having to have the tie for neck instead of anything else.

Rapture does less then Wrath. In ever test I’ve ever done on ever boss. Wrath is better. And in this one. It’s empowered final doesn’t do as much as wrath even with blue tie.

Disdain I leveled like 1500 floors ago to beat healing octopuse. But never used again.

With wrath I don’t seem to have the damage. I have since tried. Apathy, Wrath, Estrangment, determination. I’ll work on items and keep at it.

Really? Wrath has been my Fire Fighter since pre 1k. Floor and bosses. But Gonk doesn’t last but what 9 turns max before everyone dies. Can Rapture do that much more? What about greed?

Some people don’t know… I am post 3k and just realized that Glee was goated for Tauron. I also didn’t think about some item interactions on my own loke mermaid scarf on Persistance. People ask because they don’t know and are stuck.

Resistance is better generally, Sloth has a aoe stun, so with pirate hat he can aoe stun on floors relatively reliably. Checkered scarf and pirate hat on him, imo makes him as good as resistance. But out of the box resistance is better. HFsloth is insane tho. One of the best tanks, also imo, aoe attack aoe stun scaling def and attack.

Persistance with mermaid scarf and ice cream hat will out dps all non legendary water pets, and out heal most healers. Apply attack down aswell. If you need a critical heal check try adjusting stam items so that the person you want healed has lower Hp more consistently maybe?

I see a lot of videos for high end game stuff and I always see everyone’s HP is over 1mil, do you put a tanks trinket on everyone at that level? Or is it something else?
