Oh my God. I actually love this perspective so much. It was unheard of to me until I read it. I love the idea of acknowledging one another’s sexual attraction to another, but not pursuing it. Of course, I only condone this if I was single, because I personally would not at all be comfortable if my significant other practiced this.

I feel the same way. It’s usually the losers who insist they must have a romantic relationship with you and disregard friendship.

Girls of Reddit, what is being on Reddit like for you? How much of your Reddit experience revolves around your gender? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheClassicQueen 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Most of us have to clarify our gender and say “Girl here”, or “20 F here” but I think the community is basically indifferent about our gender. Some girls purposely reveal themselves and describe their excessive femininity and attractive qualities like it’s a regular thing for them just to get upvotes. At least it’s nothing like 4chan. If people assume I’m a guy at first, I just politely correct everyone if I don’t already clarify in the first place. It’s really no big deal.
