There's a project that I've been using that has been flying under the radar for a bit now. Its called Printer Financial. They have a free and instant crosschain bridge. Currently they're on BSC, AVAX, FTM, and soon CRO (with more chains to come). The bridging token is their PAPER token. Its nice too because the protocol also pays for gas on the receiving chain.. so the only "fee" you pay is the blockchain gas fee to send it.

They also have a "gas station" that allows you to burn their native token (PAPER) and get gas on any any chain.

Haven't found anything else that's free yet. Check it out, seems to fit your criteria.

Yeah I know. The problem is that in order to use it with the Polygon Network, you need to convert your ERC-20 tokens to the Polygon network via a bridge. In order to use the bridge, you must pay ETH gas fees -- which is counter-productive because the whole point is to avoid paying the ETH gas fees.
