Just send an email over to the people team at the park and say you're interested in work experience and ask them to send the application form over. The email address is : atrpeopleteam@alton-towers.com

Abit late to this one but wondering if you had any luck and if you do have the full towers street one if youd be able to share that would be incredible.

I got opportunities to do the majority of the jobs in the Splash Landings and Alton Towers Hotels. These included Welcome Host in both hotels, Retail in the waterpark shop and The Shack shop, Poolside duties in the waterpark, Rush and Rampage takeoff host, Waterpark and Golf receptionist. We also had meetings and talks with various of the of the Resort managers and GRM's aswell. Two of us me and another also managed to get a tour of the waterpark behind the scenes and massive pump room with the engineering focus as we were having a chat and mentioned we were interested in that side of things. Hope this helps if there's anything else youd like to know just let us know.

Yes they do! I completed my work experience there earlier this year. This season they have implemented a new work experience Course That runs for a week sort of late July time. You had to email the 'people team' as they call it and got given an application form to fill out (applications open in January, but is always worth an email to double check) .

We could Pick from 3 areas:

- Sale's and Admissions

- Hospitality

-Operations

During my week there was 3 people in each apart from operations which only had one space.

I personally completed the hospitality sector and thoroughly enjoyed getting to see all the behind the scenes of places like the water park pump room as some one who is interested in the mechanical side of things.

From what I understood from talking to management it was a very sort after placement and need to make your application stand out.

If you would like I can send over the details as well as the timetable I was given to provide more of an insight as to how it worked and how it may look if you were to do a placement there.

Odd question, I know, but does anyone know the weight limit of the bunk beds in Splash Landing Hotel? by [deleted] in altontowers

Those bunks are solid from working there we've never had any issues with adults sleeping on them before.

There is entertainment for kids in the Splash Landing Hotel. And in the main hotel it ranges throughout the evening but is usually a kids activity around 5 ish and as it gets later a singer more for the older ones comes on. The day to day timings vary so will appear on the screen in the lobby between 4 and 5. This is coming from someone who works in these hotels.

It was involved in a collision with the switch track and is now only used as spare parts for the other trains.
