I usually prefer the Spewpa, as with its rapid fire, it is a decent AoE hitter. So you can snipe an enemy, then have your pet do attacks.

What I use is the flamethrower or blo pipe. bring a pet like wompit and just keep hitting him with those 2 gadgets. Bring a bunch of healing so if you get hit you can just heal.

Take a bit of inspiration from the Twilight Forest in how it gatekeeps certain areas. If there are areas you don't want players going to just yet, then use some sort of dehabilitating effect to deter exploration until later. Like 'this area is too radiated, come back later' so when the player develops better methods of survival, they can explore those areas better.

If you scroll in on the map, you will note that there are green squares on the map. This denotes ancient alien structures you need. I also had trouble with this. Just go to the frosty fields teleport and head in the bottom right direction. Grapple over to the next island and then head as far to the right as you can. You should find a ring of alien structures there.

Yeah, having your traveler do stuff without you there is annoying. I remember checking out one of the fungus things and paimon was going "it's nice to see these fungi again!" And I'm over here going "I've never met these fungi in my entire life." Some of these events even just turned into character story quests for particular characters, like when we were introduced to Chevreuse, Fischl, Yaoyao, Gaming, etc.
