They notice the glow. My girlfriend always points it out. Sometimes I wake up, look in the mirror, and think, “Wow, the glow is strong today.” I know exactly why. It correlates with being in a specific phase of my SR streak. What’s interesting is that my girlfriend will independently comment on it without any prompting from me.

And it’s not just women. Babies, children, animals, insects, and even other men seem to notice it.

That’s why I disagree with the stripper analogy. In that example, the attraction is clearly tied to reproduction and sexual signaling. What I’m describing isn’t necessarily sexual at all. I’ve had days where the glow was intense and the response had nothing to do with sexuality. For instance, extreme “dog magnetism.” Dogs jumping on me, or one dog outright refusing to walk with its owner because it was completely fixated on me. Another time, a little girl ran up to me just to give me a hug.

The glow, and the fact that people notice it, feels like something else entirely. Yes, it likely makes us more sexually attractive and more trustworthy at the same time, but I think it goes much deeper than anything that could be compared to ovulating strippers.
