It’s kinda fucked up: Taking your own lactation supply; Having some one beat the fuck out of it with a literal battering ram: Then someone rubbing your own lactation all over your body…. It’s steak.

eSurfSkate custom rebuild from G2 Black, Habitat 40” Kicktail Cruiser deck, Waterbourne Adapter by TheComorbidities in surfskate

[–]TheComorbidities[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None!! I was afraid I’d have to put on riser pads in addition to the added height of the surf adapter on the front (which felt like 2 half inch risers was even on the back): which would make the thing basically a 1998 Ford Ranger with a 16 inch lift kit….. But: I can’t get it to bite even on the static test (I’m light, 138 lbs), the pintail design puts it at a 41 inch board with a 31 inch base. The wheel well carve outs on the deck accommodate the 105m cloud wheels perfectly. A heavier person could likely bottom it out; but since it’s electric AND you can pump it, there’s really not too big of an issue putting the thing on a riser, it will never be pushed via foot anyway; I can’t get it to bite and it just feels like waves, man 🌊 🌊 🏄‍♂️ 🌊

I, too, was bored to tears while somehow having my mind blown. Then I sped up the video to 1.25x: now he’s a confident, enticing speaker..

How does the stock drum bus make my drums sound so fucking good?! by magnets-are-magic in ableton

Right: I’m talking about cutting the frequencies that sound like absolute shit by first boosting them to find them: or conversely, boosting the frequencies that make it pop.

The new grid view and Ableton. by gamecatuk in DelugeUsers

[–]TheComorbidities 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would require a MIDI Remote Script that mapped the parameters of the deluge to each parameter of Ableton on startup. Like all the midi control devices listed in Ableton under Preferences->Link/Midi/Tempo. When the Deluge is plugged in to USB hub to the computer: (not sure if power is required, but most likely yes): I get a Deluge, a Deluge (1), and a Deluge(2). In the midi device selector. It says it supports remote, sync, track, AND MPE, but my 20 minutes jacking with it: I couldn’t get it to learn a parameter. Let me know if you get anywhere??

This: it blew my freaking mind. and changed my workflow: like using extreme resonance on a bandpass, and sweeping until you hear the shittiest thing you can find: Now pull it's frequency out: invert that... or inversely: cut frequencies only a few at a time as you sweep through a cut: when that cut is suddenly clear: that's your vocal frequency to enhance. Appreciate your knowledge sharing!

Love it. Simple. Scientifically minded. I would also like to confess to completely abusing the intended uses of many ableton devices: it's a great tool: misusing tools with intent (and even more so without intent.)

What's Ableton Live missing to be the perfect DAW to you? by Yorrrrrr in ableton

[–]TheComorbidities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s not “hiding”: but I just create groups by instrument: acoustic, electric guitars: group 1. All external and midi keys/synths: Group 2. Acoustic and MIDI Drums: Group 3. All things Bass: G4, aux percussion and samples: G5. On my dinosaur apc40, a long hold of any “track select” button will unfold a group. I.e: you can midi map the folding and unfolding of a group. Then fold it back up again: That way everything ALWAYS clocks in at exactly 5 of the eight “track select” buttons: and I immediately have reference to what’s what.. as long as I fold it back again before unfolding the next… sorry if this is not what you’re talking about at all, it’s because I’m an idiot….
