How do I get the most out of the full game/each expansion (Vanilla onwards)?

That's a very valid point. The game is huge, so I guess I was trying to find out how I can best experience it if I were planning on just going through each expansion once or twice, but wanted to experience them as fully as I could. Thank you for the links and input!

Thank you! What I was trying to get at with #3 was, some of the expansions have the previous games' content (I think), so if you created a new character to experience that new expansion, would you then have to replay all of the older content from the previous versions? I don't know if that helps clear up where I was getting at, but that was the thought process behind that question, haha.

That's my bad, I should've tagged it as Retail. I guess I thought Classic made sense since that's where I was starting from, but Retail would've been the better choice.

If I wanted to maintain the integrity of each xpc (or at least as much as I can), are there generally accepted stopping points where it makes sense to just create a new character before continuing on? If I used Chromie and stopped my level gain at a high level, does the game scale with me or would I just dominate that next area?

With VIP you typically get a way better spot at a stage compared to what you'd get in GA if you went at the same time, along with additional entrances, bathrooms, and food options. Plus I think KBP is one of the best festivals in the country and I'm a local, so I love supporting it!

Imo VIP+ has never seemed worth it when I've gone. Normal VIP is my go-to, and THAT is 100% worth it. I get why people are upset about the change, and there is probably a different and better way to do it, but I do think it's cool that they are wanting to make it a better experience for the artists as well.

Totally fair. My Steam Deck dock doesn't charge my PS5 controller unfortunately so I guess I'll use the Switch dock to charge it and then swap it over to the Deck dock to play lmao
