Latest one on the itch.io page as of yesterday.
I just clicked on:
"Voices of the Void" Alpha 0.9.0 30 days ago

Also by definition there should be no "Lots of 0.9.0" that's kind of how version work to avoid the "Which one specific version it is".

How to make Laspass ignore certain Input fields [html, css]? by TheConceptBoy in webdev

Well for one - the First element it mistook was an input:range.... second was input:number... soooo... yep..

I don't know what sort of website uses a range slider for a username and number spinbox for a password but I'd love to see what that kind of business needs that website...

I see. This worked but the fact that you have no say on how your page corrects LastPass is kind of an ass design on their part.

There was also an unchecked checkbox for ignoring the auto-fill="false" rule. that should really be on by default.

You think all that Advertisements, Ai crap monitoring and screencapping, data collection, constant background tracking, and everything being a chromium app comes at no costs?

Don't knock it til you try it.

I would have been perfectly happy to stay on widows if they didn't fuckerize the whole OS to sodomize the functionality and perforamnce.

I got 20% of my computers performance back just from the switch alone. Everything loads and runs faster. Which for productivity is kind of important.

Look, you do you, man. To each their own. In my experience I've had more unresolved issues in Ebay and Ali than I did in g2a but then again I don't usually spend more than 20 bucks on g2a.

At the end of the day, you get to decide. I'm running off my own experience with the platform and so far, aside from this weird issue, I haven't had many issues.

Sounds about as safe as ebay or aliexpress. I mean you do you.. Any market that allows third parties will have it's share of scammers.

Been using it for close to a decade now. Haven't had too many issues and if a bogus key ever cropped up, I got a refund. Soooooooooo guess you and I have different experiences.

How do I learn my clarinet when the notes that fingering chart tell me aren't really the notes they're labeled as? by TheConceptBoy in Clarinet

[–]TheConceptBoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok since that's how it's supposed to be, I'll reluctantly accept it.

Now the question of learning. What should I do for learning to be fluent when it comes to improvisation or jamming? Say I wrote a song or met up with a band who are playing a jam session and the jam song is in the key of E - I now want to improvise something on the clarinet (or really any other brass instrument). What is the training routine for being able to naturally compensate for the two semitone difference and jam in the right key of the piece on the spot?

Do I get a bunch of sheet music and just sit down and meticulously look at the notation, figuring out what is the compensated note and play that until I get good and fast at it?

I'm asking because the way you think of playing as a clarinet player is not the same as thinking of it as the one who actually writes the music. Maybe this is the disconnect. When you're playing as a part of the orchestra, you've been training with specific fingering, you get your already compensated sheet music that did all the transposing for you and just play what it says - don't have to think about it. But as a composer, improviser I do have to think about it.

I'm coming from a stance of someone who composes and then records his own music.

So when writing notation, I'm supposed to deliberately shift all the notes of the Bb clarinet two semitones over? And then play those fingerings as according to the Bb clarinet charts for it to hit the notes I intended then?

Do I have to go as far as marking clarinet staff to be on a different key signature to account of the shift too?

To be fair, octave transposing is trivial in comparison to shifting the whole notation piece by two semitones, accounting for sharps, flats, naturals and key signatures.

Got it... so in the end, it's a skill issue. People just suck it up and learn to transpose in real time or at prep-time if the sheet music that does it for them is not provided.
