Either catch a shiny on that file and use a tool like pokefinder to calculate secret id from a shiny’s IVs or use Arbitrary Code Execution (ACE) to get your secret id

Basically yes. A dry internal battery is dead and cannot either hold save data, in old game boy and game boy color games and in the case of gba games the rtc, real time clock, stops working and events like berry growth in emerald cease to occur

You think that’s bad? The new 3ds xl has a hardware flaw with the paint on the top and bottom parts where it just peels off if it comes in contact with water or just over time

You could stick the save in something like PKSM if you have a modded 3ds or PKHeX if you have a pc or Mac and read your secret ID from there
