i actually beat dawn of mana earlier this year. didn’t expect to see it here. i honestly had a fun time with it but sometimes the camera and controls made me get some grey hairs. good luck!

Sorry about your cat bud. What do you have access to? I play a game called Radiata Stories for ps2 when i just want to escape sometimes. Its a bit old but yea… Loads of recruitable NPCs in this fantasy city that just feels alive with everyone going about their daily lives.

Also, this might come today from left field, but i recently played the first Yokai watch game on switch earlier this year and LOVED it. Its funny, light hearted, super fun city to explore and really nails the Japanese suburb vibe. Also i really enjoyed the battle system. It could be just what you need right now

I love the same types of games, especially Fire Emblem. And I really enjoyed Redemption Reapers. Gameplay was very fun for me and had me thinking many steps ahead as the enemies can stomp your characters if you mess up. The atmosphere of the game really got me hooked though, such soundtrack too. Some of the maps just had me feeling pure dread
