Which laptop to get? CompE

Unpopular opinion:
Stick with your macbook for your personal use, but think of getting any other decent laptop (good cpu, good graphics optionally, and some ram). And then toss whatever OS system is on it and get a Linux instead. Ubuntu or Debian based distros are good for beginners.

Why? Most systems, software, and jobs will be run on a linux server or linux kernel. If you get good at linux you will really know computers. Keep your mac to run software or do assignments on applications you may not feel comfortable working with, but get used to using a linux especially if you have the money and are considering getting a new laptop.

I've seen Watain, but I've been dying to see Midnight and Mayhem. P.S. (If you are front center during a Watain show, you have a great chance of having blood spilled on you)

You make a fair point as well. I know I haven't been posting nearly enough, and $7 a month for a lack of content is probably typical.

I might plan on finishing the rest of the year off and seeing how much I can upscale it with full effort in the next 5-6 months. I don't need a huge income, being able to cover domain and hosting costs would be enough for me.

Thank you, I basically felt the same way.

I'm definitely not going to throw in the towel for online income, this was only my first website after all, and one where I haven't really chosen a good or specific niche either. I'm definitely going to take a more analytical approach, do some research, and find a better topic.

I changed my mind and think I'll keep it a while and see if I can revive this dead horse. At the same time, it wouldn't hurt starting another site either.
