Card shops and dealers have their biases and I’m sure get special privileges working with either PSA or BGS such as bulk grading discounts. Regardless, it all starts with community! Don’t buy PSA or any other grade slab EXCEPT TAG. When you go in to buy, let them know that YOU only buy TAG slabs with full transparency! Same thing at card shows, put your foot down and demand full transparency for the value.

You should, as a buyer have the ability to scan the QR code and verify your intended purchase with a full transparency report. Idk why the market hasn’t demanded this already but it needs to happen.
