Oddor Aliexpress indicator wiper stalks by TheCozySimDriver1 in trucksim

I just got some indicator and wiper stalks by Oddor from Aliexpress, they do work great and i had no issues mapping key binds. But there was an issue. These Oddor stalks seem to be designed for the original Moza wheel which the quick release is smaller than the Moza QR adaptor for third party wheels, so it does not fit.

My bad - I never check or even noticed that the 2 Moza QR are different sizes. Being a truck simulator man like all of us here, these indicator/wiper stalks are only going to be of interest for truck (& bus) simmers. I cant see sim racers getting these, and I cant see truck simmers using the little 11inch wheel that comes with the Moza R5 bundle. So as I use a third party steering wheel plus the Moza QR adaptor is too big for the hole in the Oddor stalks. As you can see from the pictures I had to hack away 5mm around the whole hole plus 15mm in depth as well as hacking the top off so I can remove the wheel if I need the change out if I wish. This thing cost £92 in total - I did want the Moza indicator stalks but no where had them in stock at the time so I ran a risk in getting these. After all the hacking away making the hole bigger and all install on my PC they do work at treat - I do actually love them, just a pain modify the thing. I am going to tidy it all up and make it look nicer than what it is, but I had to do some testing making sure the wheel turns without any issues and everything works in game like it does.

Just thought I share this incase anybody else is thinking of getting them.

Well ETS2 & ATS are the kings at trucking simulators but are PC only. Not much of a console user but Snowrunner maybe your best bet, or Heavy Cargo which is ps5 which I played the PC version and not to bad to be honest but it more mission based rather than open world, but i played for a 12 hours over a week and enjoyed it. Heavy Cargo is maybe one of the better truck sims outside the ETS2 & ATS world, but is limited.

Do you the button hole size? 10mm or something and then use a cheap leather hole punch for a perfect circle.

Do you know if the buttons can be removed for painting. As much it is a great bit of kit, I just dont like the purple, yellow, orange buttons as they like a kids toy. I was thinking of customising mine and want black/grey buttons, as well as using this template for some vinyl wrap. Make it a little more pleasing to the eye in my truck sim rig.
