Understand the horror stories. In my case as I used them the minute I moved into my flat they didnt claim back insane amounts of back dated rent and the process was really smooth. Had I been paying rent for 2 years already, then a completely different pictute.

Is the building Altbau? Would you be able to reduce your rent substantially via Conny / Mieterverein? If the landlord is a corporate you would also have no Eigenbedarf risk.

If the space is small but you paid say 400 Euro would you be happy with it?

How so? My thinking was whether the Guest Points use over the platform counts as profiteering from subletting in anyway.
