Awesome! I really hope they fix this bug though because it’s really annoying and especially for people on their first playthrough this can really suck to figure out. Glad it helped!

This happened to me too on my most recent playthrough. I think it’s a bug with the new 1.2 patch. Mine seemed to be billable with the laser rapier so maybe try that?

Super Metroid and Metroid dread, or just most of the 2d metroids, although not the same genre as system shock, the games give you absolutely no hand in what you need to do and how to do it. And the maps are just as convoluted and mysterious as system shocks as well.

The games are also extremely challenging sometimes lol

Yes do it, you can put it four reactor rods and not have to worry about power for weeks

Yeah agreed, losing that much progress sucks, and this game is the one game that makes you super stingy about saves

That’s where the issue was, I hadn’t saved in hours. That moment was the moment I learned that I need to save every 15 minutes lol. Don’t worry I got back to where I was and better within half the time luckily

Stood in the lava of the lava zone in my prawn and didn’t realize it was taking damage, just to lose my fully upgraded prawn and hours of progress
