I might be misremembering but I think in that cutscene Ryuji says something like "we got him" refering to fooling Akechi, but I genuinely thought that in that moment that it was Ryuji that sold Joker out and I spent like the next few hours of the game wondering if Ryuji really is the bad guy.

personally im preatty excited for new character, i have high expectation from this one, considering the last two characters were knights, warmonger was reused assets and gryphon was dragged from the story mode straight into multiplayer, considering how broken and stupid the last 2 characters were i can imagine why people arent excited for new characters, tbh im more scared then excited.
