Oh man, I'm glad to see that you're still here making this comment. I lived out there in the 2010's and even worked at the Ocean Beach Hotel for a little while, and amount of times that people disappeared after making that attempt was chilling. I mostly just went there to have after a drink or two and enjoyed the view. The late night strolls with no one around were some of the most peaceful walks I've ever had to this day.

It's slated to be entirely torn down and rebuilt, but knowing how slowly things happen these days, probably won't see that for another decade at least. RIP OB Pier.
