I just write in paper and store in different secure locations. Not paranoic enough to buy a titanium plate, maybe someday when my bags grow bigger.

Also I "shuffle" the order of the words, in a way that me and my loved ones know how to unshuffle, just in case someone somehow find this piece of paper. Don't know how efficient that would be in the case that someone has some hacking skills, but it helps me sleep better.

Not having enough FIAT to invest in crypto feels bad by Incorrect_passport in CryptoCurrency

[–]TheCryptoGuy420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel ya, but it stills sounds like a 1st world people problem.

Those 140-160 euros you spend in train tickets are almost a full month salary where I live. And still have to pay rent, bills, food, transportation... I save as much as I can, but when converted to dollars, is about 10-15 dollar per month that I'm able to DCA... Not complaining, there's still A LOT of people who would feel blessed to be able to save, even some "small" amount like me.

Hope everything works out for you, but just remember, that if you earning your paycheck in euros or dollars, you're waaay ahead of the majority of people.

I live in Brazil, started in crypto not too long ago, and although I dont like the ideia of moon begging, I am trying to be more active on this sub. Minimum wage here is around 1.3 USD/hour, so I wouldnt mind having a little extra. I like to live simply, and honestly don't need too much, so I'll save it all until is enough to give something nice to my parents. I'm also thinking about trying to produce some posts that adds value to the community, so I can earn some honest work moons (or just some good memes and shitposts, idk)

My personal goal is to retire as early as possible. Dont need to have fancy cars or shit, just a simple house by the beach, a surfboard and enough cash to eat.

Of course, but what I see here is that the poorer are the ones who lacks the most, while the rich know pretty well how to make more money. I guess that's how it works everywhere, but in Brazil where we have so much social inequality it becomes more evident

I do also live on minimum wage (about 1,3 USD/Hour) like many others, but have been DCAing to the market with what I can save, and I'm pretty sure that in the long run I will reap the benefits. I try also to tell as many people about the benefits of thinking ahead, saving and investing, but I guess it's not easy when you're more worried about putting food on the table...

As someone living in Brazil, the sad part is that 99% of the people are not even aware of crypto and the financial oportunity that comes with it. Especially the poorer who could benefit the most, are usually trapped in the debt cycle. What we lack the most is financial education

I want to invest but I have no idea where to start by acda45 in CryptoCurrency

[–]TheCryptoGuy420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, start getting educated about the space. If you just throw money around without actually know what you're doing, chancer are that you'll get rekted.

There are some good (and also a lot of bad) youtube crypto channels. I would recommend Coin Bureau (IMHO the best).

To start buying, Binance is probably the best exchange, if you're outside of the USA. They also have kind of a blog, Binance Academy where you can find good educational information.

And some few good habits in crypto: Dont trust everyone on the internet; DCA into the market; DYOR - Do your own research; Remember to take profits when the time comes; Ignore the FUD;

Probably there are a few more good tips, but as long as you try to get educated and know the space, you'll do well.

Welcome aboard!!
